2011 - 2012 Show Season
UC Santa Cruz IHSA Show, November 19, 2011
The UC Santa Cruz Equestrian Team hosted its first ever IHSA show on November 19 at Monte Vista Christian School in Watsonville.
Allyson Burkholder was 3rd in Intermediate Fences and 2nd in Open Flat, and was the Reserve Champion High Point Rider
Martha Gustavson was 5th in Open Fences and 3rd in Intermediate Flat.
Megan Forgie was 4th in Novice Fences and 2nd in Novice Flat.
Susie Spiker was 2nd in Advanced Walk Trot Canter.
Congrats to the entire UCSC Team for a successful first show! Thank you to all members who worked hard to make the show run so well!
Stanford IHSA Show, November 5 & 6, 2011
Allyson Burkholder was 2nd in Novice Fences on Saturday and Sunday, and was 3rd and 5th in Intermediate Flat. Allyson pointed out of both Novice Fences and Intermediate Flat, and will compete at Regional Finals in March, 2012.
Martha Gustavson was 2nd in Intermediate Flat on Sunday, and was 7th in Open fences on Saturday.
Megan Forgie was 2nd in Novice Fences on Saturday and 2nd in Novice Flat on Sunday.
New member Lily Pearson was 2nd in Advanced Walk Trot Canter on Sunday.
Dana Frederick was 4th in Beginning Walk Trot Canter on Saturday.
Sarah Dennis was 7th in Advanced Walk Trot Canter on both Saturday and Sunday.
New member Laura Bertsch rode in her first show last weekend and was 5th in Beginning Walk Trot Canter on Sunday.
Sophia Rocco got a hard draw and rode well in Novice Flat on Saturday.
Danielle Lim and new member Susie Spiker rode well all weekend in Advanced Walk Trot Canter.

Cal Poly IDA Show, October 22, 2011
UCSC's new Dressage Team competed at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo last weekend.
Captain Sophia Rocco competed at First Level and scored 62.825%.
Captain Martha Gustavson competed at Training Level and scored 62.125%.
Sarah Dennis rode at Introductory Level and scored 60.0%--this was only her second time in a dressage saddle!
2010 - 2011 Show Season
IHSA National Finals, May 5-8, 2011
Martha Gustavson competed in the Individual Intermediate Equitation Over Fences at IHSA Nationals at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky, and was 11th and received an Honorable Mention.
IHSA Zone 8 Championships, April 2, 2011
Martha Gustavson won the Individual Intermediate Equitation Over Fences class at Zones and qualified to compete at IHSA National Finals at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky.
Stanford, February 4 & 5, 2011
Allyson Burkholder won a section of Novice equitation over fences on Saturday and a section of Intermediate equitation on the flat.
Allyson was High Point Rider on Saturday.
Allyson was 5th in a section of Intermediate equitation on the flat on Sunday.
Sarah Dennis was 4th in Advanced W/T/C on Saturday and 2nd on Sunday.
In her first IHSA show, Cameron Cline was 2nd in Advanced W/T/C on Saturday and was 5th on Sunday.
Sophia Rocco was 5th in Novice equitation on the flat on Sunday.
Dana Frederick was 3rd in Beginning W/T/C on Sunday.
Lauren Bartram was 6th in a section of Novice over fences and 3rd in a section of Novice flat on Saturday.
Martha Gustavson was 2nd in Intermediate equitation over fences on Saturday and 6th on Sunday, qualifying her for Zone 8, Region 1 Zone Finals at Cal Poly Pomona.
Martha was 6th in a section of Intermediate equitation on the flat on Saturday and 4th on Sunday.

Allyson Burkholder was the Overall High Point Rider at Davis
Allyson won a section of Novice equitation over fences and was 3rd in Intermediate Equitation on the flat
Sarah Dennis was 6th in Advanced Walk/Trot/Canter equitation on the flat.
Sophia Rocco was 5th in Novice equitation on the flat.
Martha Gustavson was 1st in Intermediate equitation over fences.

Allyson Burkholder was the Overall High Point Champion Rider on Sunday!
Allyson won a section of Novice Equitation over fences and was also 2nd in Intermediate Equitation on the flat.
Sarah Dennis was 2nd in Advanced Walk Trot Canter Equitation on the flat on Sunday.
Martha Gustavson was 5th in Intermediate equitation over fences on Saturday.
Brittany Bertram was 5th in Open equitation over fences on Sunday in her first IHSA show.
